MISS LIBERTY Red, White and Blue Fashion Show Winner Every contestant (Birth and up) will introduce themselves, (or be introduced -Birth-8) in our RED, WHITE and BLUE Fashion Show portion of the program. The introduction, 30 seconds or less will include your name, age, city, school and what you like best about living in America or your city. Every contestant will select an All American outfit to model on the runway. This outfit should be RED, WHITE & BLUE. Props are acceptable. Outfits can run from casual to dressy as long as it is patriotic in nature. Judging will be scored in the following way: 50% Style and Design of outfit & 50% Modeling Capability (i.e.Self Introduction, presence on stage, physical fitness, modeling style, command of the audience, feel good aura about contestant & clean look. Winner will receive a designer sash. MISS AMERICAN SWEETHEART Audience Favorite At the beginning of the pageant and during intermission, audience members may vote for their favorite contestant by voting with their dollars. A vote cost $5. This fund goes towards our MISS MEMORIAL DAY scholarship fund. Your support is appreciated. One queen will be announced at each pageant, she is the contestant that got the most votes. She will receive a beautiful 6 inch rhinestone Miss American Sweet Heart Crown. All funds are used to design, purchase material and build our Memorial Day Float. Please enjoy this part of the pageant. |
MISS PHOTOGENIC WINNER In each of the seven age categories, one winner will be chosen as Photogenic Winner from the 8x10 head shot each girl enters and mails in with her application. She will win a Photogenic Sash. One picture is included in each girls $80 or $90 entry fee. A contestant may enter additional photos at the cost of $5 additional per photo. These additional photos must be included with the pageant entry form. All photos must be in with entry form before the pageant begins with name, age, and you may enter up to 2 extra photos. 8 x 10 photo in Black & White or Color of contestant ONLY. The picture should highlight the contestant’s natural beauty, smile and skin tone. Too much makeup on a child will be counted as unnatural. Not enough hair styling on an older girl will be considered an unfinished photo. Photogenic Queen/Winner is not the same a the portfolio or Miss American Beauty as that competition is about the best PORTFOLIO entered and not just a photo entered for the Photogenic competition. MISS AMERICAN BEAUTY The MISS AMERICAN BEAUTY is a portfolio competition. A Portfolio must have 6 -15 photos in a portfolio bound booklet. The portfolio should have head shots, 3/4 body and full body shots. They can be a mixture of color, B&W, dual color,and others. The quality of the photos will be as important as the feeling of the photos. THERE IS A $25 FEE TO ENTER INTO THE MISS AMERICAN BEAUTY PORTFOLIO COMPETITION. You must turn in your Portfolio 1 hour before your pageant tothe director or dressing room mistress be considered for judging. You must pick them up after the pageant. The winer will receive a crown and sash. You must enter this competition to be considered for the overall title of Miss Patriotism. Photos &Portfolios must be picked up by parents after the pageant. Any items not picked up will be thrown away that night so remember to get your lovely photos/portfolios after your pageant is over. |
MISS AMERICAN SWEETHEART Audience Favorite Our Miss American Sweetheart is the one contestant that is chosen by our audience as their favorite contestant in each of the two pageants. Please consider personality, charm, stage presence of each contestant and cash vote for your favorite contestant by visiting the table with all the contestants photos and place your cash vote before the crowing of the winners. The one contestant with the highest total cash raised will be awarded the title of Miss American Sweetheart and designer sash. The Miss American Designer Sash will be awarded in both the of the days pageants. Two girls will be sashed Miss American Sweetheart One girl from the Baby, Tiny, Petite & Little, Pageant, and one from the Junior, Young, Teen & Miss Pageant. This competition goes towards our Scholarship Fund. |
MISS AMERICAN QUEEN Community Service Project Winner Miss American Queen is awarded to one contestant that collects the highest dollar amount before the pageant for our annual service project. This is an excellent way to piggyback on to a program for your own pageant platform or experience. The community service project will be "YOUR VOTES COUNTS!" This program will consist of the pageant registering voters for the 2012 presidential election. We will also use the funds to designing and building our parade float this year. You may collect funds from businesses, family, friends, or your parents. The contestant with the highest collected amount will be our MISS AMERICAN QUEEN. Our serving men and women deserve to know that their efforts are much appreciated by honoring them each Memorial Day as we use these funds to purchase, and build our float for honoring our military in the Dacula Memorial Day Parade. Let the director know you are working towards this title. Each girl that raised over $100 will receive a crown for her work. The winner will receive a beautiful crownans designed sash as well. Also, the total will go towards the MISS PATRIOTISM title. ____________________________________________________________________________________ MISS PATRIOTISM Overall High Scorer This is an overall title and is a combination of a contestants scores on -Pageant Score + -Miss American Sweetheart + -Miss American Beauty + -Miss American Queen + Miss Spirit of America The winner of Miss Patriotism will be the one girl that best represents all areas of the pageant through supporting each title and having high scores. She will enter all the above titles and have garnered the most possible points. Please let the director know if you are working towards the title of Miss Patriotism. |
MISS INDEPENDENCE Interview or Introduction Winner The Interview or Introduction winner is the top scorer in the Young, Junior, Teen and Miss category,which best presents herself in the interview or Introduction portion of the pageant. Her voice, presence, composure, quality of answer, and speaking ability will be judged. The Miss Independence designer sash will be awarded to this gifted girl. Only the Miss& Teen contestants will have a scheduled 4-minute interview with the judges on the day of the pageant. But introduction and interview scores will be considered for this title. Questions will be taken from contestant's Biography on the pageant entry form. Dress for success; hose, heels, dress or suit Being LATE to your interview will automatically deduct 10 points from your interview score. Be on time which in is 10 minutes early in the world of pageants!!! |
MISS SPIRIT OF AMERICA Leadership and Community Service Recognition for community service and volunteering will be awarded to the one contestant overall for her involvement or service to her community. The Miss Spirit of America is a separate form that you must print it off, fill in, and mail with entry form to compete for this title. The Miss Spirit of America title is given to the overall winner of the contestants for their work in the community. Judging will consider the age and amount of work as well as the program designed by the contestant. In the younger groups please list activities that your daughter is involved in with your family. This title winner will be awarded the Joseph R. And Virginia B. Littleton Volunteer of the Year Award and plaque for her service to her community and country as well as a designer Miss Spirit of America sash. Only one title is given for entire pageant. Have your form mailed in with application. |

| From the pageant days of the Miss Memorial Day to the Miss Georgia USA pageant?!? Yes, it can happen to your litle girl! As little ones become at ease in front of others, they are able to step forward and explore new things and enjoy new events. Their shyness leaves them and they want to move forward and become their best without even knowing it. Pageants prepare our daughters with confidence, poise, a giving heart and the ability to present themselves well in any given situtation. Becoming the very best a young woman can be is a job that any mother knows is important. To say that the ability for scholarship, leadership, and community service is a by product of this experience is a truism.
