Ms. Cynthia Montgomery
Director & Owner of the Miss Memorial Day
Organization and Pageant

Ms. Cynthia Says...
Being a mentor to young people for over 19 years through leadership
programs, teaching, coaching, and personal training has brought personal
satisfaction to my heart. I believe that teaching our daughters and sons to
find their strength and values at a young age will serve them well
throughout their entire life.  I want to encourage our youth to become
involved in their communities as well as their government in roles of
leadership and service.

The Miss Memorial Day Scholarship Organization and Pageant strives to
provide girls with opportunities to learn about their country and their
government through service projects, meeting their leaders, and
volunteering. Along the way we have fun as we develop confidence in
each young woman.  Each of our queens will grow during their reigning
year.

I enjoying seeing a contestant strive to become better with each
pageant. Working with young ladies and watching them grow as they
become confident in themselves with each pageant they enter is the
enjoyable part of this organization.  Pageantry offers our daughters the
opportunity to grow and serve. Pageant girls gain confidence and
confidence is an ingredient necessary to become a great leader.  I am
thrilled to see the hard work of my trainees evolve into winning titles at the
local ,high school, and state levels.

When asked, "Ms Cindy, what are the judges looking for and who are your
girls tonight?" The answer is always the same.  All judges are looking for a
confident , poised, leader who is disciplined, dynamic and knows who she
is.  I am proud to have coached many title holders for Mill Creek, Buford,
Dacula, Meadowcreek, & North Gwinnett as well as state and national
pageants. When they put the crown on one of my girl's head, I know that
this new queen was able to convey to the judges- who she is, what she is
made of, and what she stands in life.  These qualities are the qualities of a
winner in pageants and in life.
